About Yanhee International Hospital

Yanhee International Hospital opened in 1984 as Yanhee Polyclinic, a small outpatient clinic run by a group of young doctors and named after the power station along the road. It has grown into a 400-bed private hospital in Bang Phlat, on the Thonburi side of Bangkok, with a 15-storey building, 37 specialised treatment centres and accreditation from Joint Commission International (JCI) since 2011. Patients have come to it from 162 countries. If you're picturing yourself flying to Bangkok alone for surgery, four decades of history is a real comfort.

It is a full hospital, with an intensive care unit and specialists from every field on site, and that matters most on long operations. Phalloplasty means around two weeks on the ward, and you spend them with intensive care in the same building, not in a small clinic. Trans care runs through the Pride Center, which brings psychiatry, hormone therapy, surgery and aftercare together, so the parts of your transition sit with one team who talk to each other. For voice masculinization, the team includes Dr. Ornouma Sriwanishvipat, an ear, nose and throat specialist.

For anyone travelling, Yanhee's international coordinators are there 24 hours a day, in more than eight languages, from your first message until you fly home. You can begin with a free virtual consultation, sending photos through the online enquiry form or WhatsApp, and arrive knowing your plan and your team.

For trans men, the Pride Center covers top surgery, hysterectomy, metoidioplasty, phalloplasty and voice masculinization, so you can plan your whole surgical path with one hospital. Our guide to travelling for surgery helps with the rest. This is information, not medical advice; confirm your surgeon and plan at consultation.
