Surgery is often the moment your body finally starts to match the way you've always known yourself. Deciding where to have it, maybe in a city you've never seen and maybe on your own, is a lot to carry, and you deserve to make that choice with clear information in front of you.
Thailand, and Bangkok in particular, is one of the main places trans men travel to for FTM surgery. Its hospitals offer top surgery, hysterectomy, metoidioplasty and phalloplasty, and some add facial masculinization and voice surgery, most of them set up for international patients. These are the best FTM surgery clinics in Bangkok in 2026: what each one offers trans men, the hospital behind it, how long you'll need in Thailand and how to get a clear plan before you book a flight.
How I rank Bangkok FTM surgery clinics
I've spent over ten years coordinating international patients through Bangkok hospitals: visiting the clinics, sitting in on consultations, comparing treatment plans and seeing people through recovery. This list ranks on what matters when it's your body: who will operate, the hospital behind them, how much of the FTM path they cover, how clearly they plan your time in Bangkok and how quickly you get a straight answer. Clinics that can take you from top surgery through genital surgery come first; clinics that offer top surgery only come last.
Every fact comes from each provider's own website, checked 12 October 2026, with sources on its profile. No provider pays to be listed or to move up.

Kamol Hospital can see you through more of the FTM path than anywhere else on this list, and having one team carry you from first operation to last is a rare comfort. In a JCI-accredited hospital built around gender-affirming surgery, it offers top surgery, hysterectomy, metoidioplasty, phalloplasty, facial masculinization and voice masculinization. Behind every operation is a microsurgery theatre, an in-house lab and anaesthesiologists and psychiatrists on staff, and facial masculinization is in the hands of Dr. Sanipreeya Yingtaweesithikul, board-certified since 2015. Your first consultation is free, from photos, with a personal representative from the start. Top surgery means about two weeks in Bangkok, two to five nights of it in hospital, then recovery at K Garden, the hospital's own serviced apartments.

- JCI-accredited hospital with a microsurgery theatre
- Facial and voice masculinization too

Yanhee International Hospital
Bang Phlat · Private hospital · Checked 12 Oct 2026
Yanhee International Hospital gives you the security of a big hospital when the surgery is big: it is JCI-accredited, has cared for patients since 1984 and has 400 beds and an intensive care unit on site. Its Pride Center offers trans men top surgery, hysterectomy, metoidioplasty and phalloplasty, plus voice masculinization, with psychiatry and hormone therapy in the same centre. Phalloplasty here means around 14 nights in hospital, and having intensive care down the corridor for that is a real reassurance. Top surgery means about two nights in hospital. You can start from home with a free virtual consultation, sending photos by WhatsApp.

Preecha Aesthetic Institute (PAI)
Watthana · Private clinic · Checked 12 Oct 2026
Preecha Aesthetic Institute (PAI) on Sukhumvit 55 has been operating on trans people since 1975, and that long experience is what you lean on when you choose it. For trans men it offers top surgery, hysterectomy and metoidioplasty, though not phalloplasty, all under general anaesthetic at one of its two JCI-accredited partner hospitals in Bangkok. You know your timeline before you book: top surgery means one night in hospital and at least 10 days in Bangkok, hysterectomy one to three nights and at least 11 days, and metoidioplasty two nights and at least 17 days. If metoidioplasty is your path, this is an experienced team to walk it with.

Bangkok Plastic Surgery
Din Daeng · Private clinic · Checked 12 Oct 2026
Bangkok Plastic Surgery in Din Daeng is built around one board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Pichet Rodchareon, and that gives you certainty: from your first message, you know exactly whose hands you'll be in. For trans men it offers top surgery by subcutaneous mastectomy; most of its gender-affirming work is feminizing, so it suits you best if your chest is the operation you're planning. Its 24-hour hotline takes calls and messages from abroad, so someone answers whenever you need them, before you fly and while you heal.

Masterpiece Hospital
Dusit · Private hospital · Checked 12 Oct 2026
Masterpiece Hospital on Sukhothai Road in Dusit is a dedicated cosmetic surgery hospital that operates on trans men, and for us it is a top surgery hospital: its wider trans work is mostly facial feminization, and genital surgery isn't part of what it offers. What it gives you is a real hospital around you. Rather than a day clinic, it keeps patients in overnight after its bigger operations, so the first night after surgery is spent with care on hand, not alone in a hotel room. A phone call to +66 2 105 4370 is all it takes to start.
- Dedicated cosmetic surgery hospital
- Top surgery for trans men
- Inpatient hospital with overnight stays
- Easy to book by phone
How to plan FTM surgery in Bangkok
-
1
Start before you travel
Kamol and Yanhee offer free consultations from photos, PAI starts with an online consultation, the Bumrungrad Pride Clinic has its own direct line and Bangkok Plastic Surgery runs a 24-hour hotline. Write to two or three of them with the same details, so the answers you get back are easy to compare.

2
Decide what you're having, and in what order
If you want more than one operation, say so up front: some can be combined, others are done months apart, and phalloplasty is done in stages. My guide to surgery order walks through the usual sequence, and metoidioplasty vs phalloplasty helps if you're still choosing.

Plan your time in Thailand
Top surgery usually means one to two nights in hospital and around 10 days to two weeks in Bangkok. Hysterectomy needs at least 7 to 11 days, metoidioplasty three to four weeks, and phalloplasty around 14 nights in hospital at Yanhee alone. Book flights with some flexibility, and see travelling for surgery for the rest.

Ask who will operate and get it in writing
At Bangkok Plastic Surgery you know your top surgeon by name, and at Kamol your facial masculinization surgeon; everywhere else, ask for the surgeon's name and how often they do your operation. Get the plan and the surgeon confirmed in writing before you commit or fly.
This page is information, not medical advice: the surgeon who examines you is the one to decide which operations, and which techniques, suit your body.
